About ISEET
IIT-JEE and AIEEE —the gateways to
India’s top engineering colleges including the IITs and NITs— is all set to be
replaced by a brand new test to be called as ISEET – Indian
Science Engineering
Eligibility Test for admission into academic
year 2013-2014. ISEET will have two papers JEE (Main) and JEE (Advance). Only
the top1,50,000 candidates who qualify in Paper – I of JEE (Main) – are eligible
to appear in JEE (Advanced).

will be held in the month of February and JEE (Advance) will be conducted in the

JEE (Main)
As per the Ministry of Human Resource
Development, Government of India, Notification, the Joint Entrance Examination
(Main) – 2013 will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission. Now, AIEEE
will be known as JEE (Main) and will be the basis for the admission into
Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded
Technical Institutions etc.
JEE (Main) – 2013 shall have two
papers, Paper-1(all graduate courses) and Paper-2(B.ARCH/B.PLANNING). Candidates
may take Paper-1, or Paper-2, or both as per the course(s) they seek admission
to.
The Paper-1 of JEE will be conducted
in two separate modes i.e. Offline (Pen and Paper Based Examination) mode and
Online (Computer Based Examination) mode. The Paper-2 of JEE (Main) will be
conducted only in Pen and Paper based examination mode.
The examination will be conducted in
the following manner.

JEE (Advanced)

Technical Institutions etc.
In JEE (Advanced) – 2013, there will
be two question papers Paper-I and Paper-II,
each of three hours duration. The question papers will be bilingual (in English
and Hindi). Each of the question papers will consist of three separate sections
on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The questions will be of objective type,
designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.
In some sections, incorrect answers will be awarded negative marks.
Distribution of top 1,50,000
candidates across various categories will be in the following manner:

3% of the total candidates in each
category are reserved for PD candidates as per Government norms
